Try going into FS Options/assignments and look for your rudder assignments. You should be able to enable a reverse block, and hopefully take care of your problem.

Rudder pedals for FS2004

Help for a newbie please! I have a QuickShot Prowheel which works fine (gameport to USB) and Teambird rudder pedals which are SUPPOSED to work. But left rudder turns the aircraft right and right rudder doesn't do much at all. Am I stuck in racing car mode and how do I get out?

yokes

are there any yokes out there that do not have the throttle on the yoke like the CH products have. I am going to buy a throttle quadrant also with the yoke so i wouldnt need the throttle on the yoke
Yes, there should be, if you're creative enough. You can buy a few cheap monitors (which each display a part of the cockpit or a few gauges) and switches, and make the cockpit itself out of wood, or use a cardboard cockpit model made for it. Self-made is not always as good, but it usually saves you a huge lot of money. Good luck!

Is there any way to get an airline cockpit without the extreme price ($5000 +) and still include the gauges, monitors and other necessary equipment??

Im not sure about the force feedback, but there are some pretty good yokes and other cool flightsim stuff here: avshop.com/departments.asp?dept=155
I've never heard of any. Joysticks, yes, but yokes, no. But that does not mean there aren't any.
