... And once you have done this, you can save the plan and use it again when flying this route in the future.
By paid version of the flight planner I meant that by RouteFinder (scroll down for the link). See their website for details.

I create a flightplan from DEPT to DEST, using a direct GPS route, then drag the red line on the flight plan layout page in FS to the waypoints I wrote down. That way, the waypoints appear in the waypoints list on the right side. Sometimes trying a high airways IFR route (or other) already gives the same plan (you could first try that if you have a long list of waypoints).... (read on in next post)

Hi Giln, the answer to that is: you can't.
I usually write down the waypoints, then enter them in FS. The route summary (with airways) which is also shown can be copied right into IVAO or VATSIM flightplan if flying online.
Maybe the paid version can export an FS fpln.
