If your mouse has a scroll wheel, you can handle several controls much quicker, eg. the trim wheel: position your mouse over the trim wheel and scroll up or down; it should change. This works similar for many other controls, like COM and NAV, Clock, Sim-speed, etc. This makes changing frequency much more realistic and much faster. Also on the the autopilot you can make changes with the wheel instead of looking for the + and - then clicking away (or holding button down until the numbers you want go by). Feels much more controllable to me and natural. The 777 MFD switch for ND - EICAS - EICAS2 also responds but not any single toggle switch. Looks like anything with multiple options responds to the wheel. |
